Fall Fun

So this weekend was packed with all kinds of great things - a huge party for my Pappa Jay's 60th, a terrific few days playing with my GREAT Aunt Pat and Uncle Jack, an exhilirating game of chase-the-Grandpa, a fun time jumping on Tia Wendy in her sleeping bag in the living room and to top it off a really yummy dinner with just me and Mom and Dad on Sunday night to wind down from the crazy weekend.

Photos could not possible describe how much fun I had. That is what mom tells me since she completely dropped the ball on her party documenting duties - she was too busy dancing. I had so much fun that I felt it important to wake up Mom & Dad for hours on end throughout the very long Saturday night - I just needed to remind them of everything so they would not forget. Some of the words I heard them use would not be appropriate for this blog. Dad was not looking so good in the morning - too much vino eh dad???

Ciao!

Halloween

I'd like to officially thank Nasa for the spare parts that were "procured" from their dumpster. As you see in the photo Dad (AKA crazy weird alien dude) and I were able to build a fully functioning jet pack trainer. Note the tandem configuration. This unit, having been the "qual" unit, will soon be retired, and we will start work on the flight unit. We look forward to next year when I get to take my first solo flight. The flight plan has been approved between San Anselmo and Pasadena. I will fly to my friend Ellie's house since her Dad and my Dad are space nerds together.

Halloween was pretty cool. We marched in the Fairfax Halloween parade where everyone was pretty excited about my rocket pack - calling me Rocket Baby! Sadly I fell asleep and completely missed the whole trick or treat experience.

Next year Dad and I will work more on the space suits ... the tube socks were a last ditch effort on Mom's part. She was really at a loss as to what rocket babies actually wear. Duh mom!!
